Labor Laws in China

You must be aware of the local laws and norms before starting an executive search in China. While investigating the possibility of hiring executives in China, it is important to gain a clear understanding of China’s labor laws. Here are some Chinese labor laws to consider.

The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress adopted a decision on the Revision of the Labor Contract Law of the People's Republic of China that took effect July 1, 2013. The Labor Law Contract is intended to provide better protection to employees. Some of the following points are highlighted in the China Labor Law Contract. Companies must operate from a permanent business premise with facilities that are suitable for both clients and employees. Companies must have internal policies that are compliant with the relevant laws and administrative regulations relating to standards of the industry within which they operate.
