While investigating the possibility of conducting an executive search in Mexico, it is important to gain a clear understanding of Mexican labor laws. Here are some Mexican labor laws to consider.

The federal Labor Law of Mexico sets forth a maximum of 48 hours per week as the amount of hours a laborer can work without going overtime. As a general rule, for every consecutive six days of work, employees are entitled to one paid day off. It is also stated that the employer and the employee should try to agree on Sundays as the day off. If not, the employee is entitled to receive a Sunday premium equivalent to at least 25 per cent of the daily wage.
