Labor Laws in Romania
Hiring executives in Romania should not be taken lightly, and you must be aware of the local laws and norms before starting the search process. While investigating the possibility of conducting an executive search in Romania, it is important to gain a clear understanding of Romania's labor laws. Here are some labor laws to consider.
Full-time working hours are 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week. Working time may not exceed 48 hours per week, including overtime. Working hours for young people aged 18 or under are limited to 6 hours per day and 30 hours per week. Overtime is compensated either by paid time off in lieu within the following 30 days or by granting additional pay. Work performed between 10pm and 6am is classified as night work.
