Hi Mike,

Thanks a lot. I do agree: face to face is the most efficient and Lasting 'communication medium'.

We spend a lot of time rehearsing the employee Meetings/townhall Meetings. One teammember takes the employee role and shoots at the message to be conveyed. Like in a debating Club. Afterwards we have 2 or 3 Scenarios and a clear plan of where NOT to take the discussion.

Keep up the good work.

Regards,

In reply to <a href="https://www.ceo-worldwide.com/blog/10-tips-for-a-successful-turnaround/comment-page-1/#comment-4098">Abraham Beckers</a>.

Dear Abraham

Great questions and please find my response.

1. Communication to Shareholders was through a monthly face meeting.

2. The first 6 months I had to go fast and make a lot of changes. I made a plan for my self and went to execute. I organized monthly meetings to inform and motivate the employees. That was the most difficult part and a few things had to happen without much communication.

3.After 6 months and bigger changes done the plan became more structured and communication was done : face to face, townhall meetings, emails and telephone conferences.

I hope my answer gives some insights.

Dear Mike,

Thanks for sharing this very complex Project with us. Reading between the lines key succes factor was also the inspiring and excellent CEO.

Focus on the target and resilience when something/some-one back-fires is easier to deal with when you have an excellent and experienced Team with you.

You must have an extremely high Level of trustbuilding to pull this through. (Chapeau!)

Would you please give us an insight how your communication strategy was? e.g. Did you create a "Master" strategic plan showing the differnt steps and phases ahaed to inform the stakeholders?

How did you organise the informationflow to shareholders?

Thanks again for this great Job.

From Brussels,
