Hi Olivier, I recognise many of the aspects highlighted by you in the article. Growth has to be built on a strategic foundation that is based on both, corporate business and corporate brand strategy, ensuring the business and brand essence leads, and not arbitrary elements as is so often the case.
When doing a strategic review for a new client, I am often asked to take on managing the acquisition programme as well as the original parameters have not materialised. Happy to share experiences if it helps.

Excellent article and very informative and insightful. The culture aspect needs more understanding between acquirer and acquired to make or break. Esp in people oriented business ,a little empathy and a softer approach on exiting people will reduce collateral damages. An interesting story unfolds for me to dig in and dive into for the benefit of others, very soon
