Now looking for a General Management appointment with a P&L lead preferably for a US multinational.

Major Achievements

In charge of setting-up and managing an European Competence Center located in Hungary that provides added-value services primarily in the fields of Finance, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Service Delivery & IT to the Business Units of the Lexmark Group. •Established from scratch a 250 seats center in Budapest – a 2M$ Greenfield capital investment: oSuccessfully negotiated a 1.5M$ Grant with the EU/Hungarian authorities oNegotiated contract T&Cs with more than 20 local business partners oHired and developed a high caliber core management team – no attrition after 2.5 years •Successfully consolidated and leaded the transfer of restructured activities from Western Europe: o250 positions consolidated to Budapest within 2 years with no major impact on European operations and customers – 70 different jobs specifications. oSuccessful migration to a new ERP (SAP) during the Budapest site ramp up phase. oAfter 1 year, decision from the Executive team to transfer 70% more resources than planned. •Established Financials OPEX controls (12M$ budget), budgeting and purchasing – delivered OPEX 20% lower than the Business Plan assumptions. •Implemented new policies and procedures including a Quality Management System – the site received the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications after only 2 years of operations. •Defined effective HR policies leading to less than 5% staff attrition compare to 15%+ in the industry. •Designed, developed and implemented a 5 years strategic plan – and a Budapest “Vision Line” •Deliver regular performance update to the European & US Executive team.
