Major Achievements

Implemented programs to ensure compliance of two Canadian generic cream and ointment manufacturing facilities to US and Canadian regulatory requirements. Successfully led the organization through its first FDA pre-approval and general compliance inspections. Championed the execution of a $4 million facilities expansion to consolidate manufacturing in one facility. Managed the transfer of operations, with appropriate regulatory approvals, over 3 years. Led an increase in output from 500,000 to 2,000,000 tubes per month over 4 years, while simultaneously increasing productivity 80% in terms of tube output per operations employee.  Established UbiSol Technologies Inc. and negotiated the worldwide rights to UbiSol-Aqua™, a drug solubilization/delivery platform technology that complexes lipophilic compounds to produce fully water-soluble, bioavailable, formulations. Filed a GRAS application in the US for use in dietary supplements and achieved approval for multiple product license applications from the Natural Health Product Directorate of Health Canada. Technology sublicensed to Zymes LLC in the US.
