Experienced Board level HR Director / CHRO, Board Advisor and Executive Coach, with c. 25 years global multi-sector experience. Leading large teams, across all HR disciplines, in over 20 countries, driving sustainable stakeholder satisfaction, profitability and growth. Principal sector experience is in Financial Services (Reinsurance, Insurance, FinTech & Asset Management) & Health.
Leading a team of c.70 within a major global B2B & B2C Insurance/Health provider (45,000 employees worldwide, regularly achieving annual profit of c.€3 billion on premium income of around €50 billion), I drove innovation within an increasingly commoditised business environment. I led a programme of culture change, working alongside the Group Chairman elect. This transformed the human capital approach (recruitment, development, reward, leadership) radically improving organisational ability to hire/place talent and maximise collective contribution. It enabled development and growth of insurance product lines relating to: cyber-crime, structured financial products, autonomous vehicles, health tech & data science. It established, group-wide, ‘Inno-Hubs’ and Design Thinking methodology leading to key competitive differentiation.
