Major Achievements

As Director of Rail & Energy at Segula Technologies I catalyzed successful market entry into the DACH region (comprised of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), rapidly generating business with total contract value (TCV) of €2M within 4 months at a 12% net margin (versus the industry average of ~8%). At Segula, I am also playing a key role in Germany’s 1st large-scale rollout of diesel-electric-powered locomotives as an advisor to Toshiba Railway Europe. As Deputy Managing Director of the DACH Region at CAF, I generated €200M in peak annual revenues at a 9% net margin (versus the industry average of 6%). In this role, I also won a €2B, 7-year contract with Deutsche Bahn for the delivery and the 1st major deployment (400 units) of CAF’s new Civity EMU platform, providing the European market with energy efficient, customizable, low-maintenance, modular, low-floor vehicles.
