In 2001 Patrick Mataix founded CEO Worldwide Ltd (www.ceo-worldwide.com: International Management on Demand™) after a career of more than 30 years in the technology sector in Europe and the USA.
Since its launch, CEO Worldwide generated more than 1000 search mandates (consulting, interim management and permanent recruitment) in Europe, Asia, Middle East and North America and holds a database of over 18,300 international executives (vetted iCEO™ ) who can join a company within days, covering 180 countries. With this service Patrick brought a new reactivity, flexibility and cost to the market, unrivalled by traditional international C-level recruitment and executive search companies.
Before he launched CEO Worldwide, Patrick Mataix co-founded and co-directed Vistaprint Ltd from 1996 to 2001 (www.vistaprint.com), ensuring:
1. its organic growth in Europe (France, UK, Germany) then in the USA
2. its external growth through 2 acquisitions in Europe
3. several rounds of pre-IPO fund raising exercises with European, Asian and American VCs, $100 million (USD).
Vistaprint (Nasdaq:CMPR) is today world leader in the e-printing sector and fully integrated in the CIMPRESS group, a mass customization platform which served last year nearly 17 million customers, took more than 30 million orders and produced 46 million uniquely designed, customized items. In 2018, the group exceeded $2.5 billion (USD) in revenue with 12,000 employees worldwide.
From 1993 to 1995, Patrick was responsible for the European development of the multimedia division of BT (ex. British Telecom). Before he joined BT, he started his career with Olivetti as Marketing Manager for large accounts for 5 years.
Patrick Mataix holds a Science Degree of Centrale Marseille (1984-87) and a MBA of INSEAD (1995-96).
