Major Achievements

• Chaired the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. • Led the organisation on 12 Trade missions between 2023 and 2024 including first time extra regional missions to Ghana and Canada. This resulted in participation by 250 companies, undertaking 1,400 B2B meetings and the shipment of over 85 containers (excluding repeat orders). • Represented Trinidad and Tobago at the 16th China-LAC Business Summit in Beijing and The China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. • Successfully advocated for the recapitalisation of the FOREX Window at the Export Import Bank which resulted in over USD 627M being distributed to 284 small and medium sized businesses in 2023 and 2024. • Grew the revenues of the industrial division by more than 100%. • Planned and executed new export marketing strategy that grew exports by over 50%.
