Major Achievements

 Operational Efficiency: As a Senior Manager Operations of a top Courier Company, headed B2C vertical for North India having a Span of Control of 12 Operations Managers, 800 employees and 50 facilities. With Indian Navy, conducted detailed assessments, planned and executed measures for safety and movement of 20+ ships across thousands of kilometres, while ensuring efficient management of operations and equipment; achieved incident-free tenures whilst serving on-board several warships.  Leadership & Initiative: Headed a team of 12 Operations Managers and 800 employees for a large courier company and increased Net Sales Level (NSL) across all states. With Indian Navy, took proactive steps to gain expertise on mechanism and components of a strategic weapons system while working with foreign specialists for the installation, which negated the need for expensive training, thus saving costs as well as enabling availability on the ship.  HRM: Created and implemented personnel development, employee engagement and work efficiency programs covering 800 employees for one of the world’s largest Courier Company. During stint with the Indian Navy managed technical training operations for safety for 1500 personnel and control of assets valued at INR 20,000 crores.  Trained new joiners at National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy. Curriculum & activities included Onboarding, Training, retention, instill leadership qualities and grooming to prepare Officer Cadets / Midshipmen / Sub Lieutenants to be future leaders of Armed Forces. Operational / Training Excellence: • Handled all activities / processes pertaining to WH & Logistics Operations, Customer Care, Customer Support, Lead Management and Administration Verticals for pan India requirements with a span of control of 05 Managers, 300 employees and 25 Facilities including resource planning and management. • Setting up of all goals & targets, KPIs / KRAs for team members to achieve operational excellence. • Conceptualized & rolled out “Leadership Training” Project for the Organization. • Mentored cross function team members for leadership roles as part of Career Development. • Worked closely with L&D team in revising and executing “New Hire Orientation Program” and other Non- Tech Trainings. • Handled all activities / processes pertaining to Pickup and Delivery of Domestic and International shipments across North India. Increased Net Service Level (NSL) and Service Quality Index (SQI) to 90% & 95 % respectively. As part of B2C Team, handled PUD Operations across North Indian States with a span of control of 12 Operations Managers, 800 employees and 50 Facilities. • Initiated measures for reducing Cost to Serve and formulating SOPs for Vendor Management, Contract Compliances, KPI Compliance, PUD Ops activities etc. • Led & successfully completed ISO 14001 Audit (Environment Management System) & ISO 45001 Audit (Occupational Health & Safety) resulting in certification for the Organization at MEISA level.
