At Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as Executive Director of Institute for Sports Research, I managed interdisciplinary research and technological innovation applied to sporting goods. With a 3 M€ yearly budget, I led a team of 2 R&D Program Directors, 15 Professors, 18 Researchers, 35 PhD students. We signed 4 M€ of R&D contracts within 2,5 years with leading sports brands. We created a composites research consortium and Initiated the Nanyang Composites Center raising 2 M€ budget for new equipment.
