Major Achievements

Various outsourcing mission: as MD relaunch of a Yachts company (design and construction of luxury yachts) - Consulting mission: as MD turnaround of an ailing shipyard (business relaunch) - Consulting mission for the US challenger for the America’s Cup - Management consulting and outsourcing mission for the French challenger for the America’s Cup. In my former company I contributed to the group’s development through external growth operations and also set up an LMBO operation within the group, in which I was involved as one of its shareholders. Before, after setting up a stock repurchase operation on a shipping company, I used medium-term shipping contracts with two major oil companies to finance three large gas tankers with an overall value of USD 180 million. This type of tax-lease financing was very specific and complex inasmuch as it involved packages that had to be approved by the French tax authorities.
