Major Achievements

Managed workforce of 250+ in a Retail start up, involving a large distribution network of 25 warehouses and 70+ retail locations, enabling 40% growth in revenues. Achieved significant cost reduction by restructuring Supply Chain. Key actions / results included:  Improving customer service level from 48% to 98%, over a 12-month period, through detailed analysis of failure points, issue resolution and revising Vendor arrangements whilst maintaining cost base.  Rationalising warehouse space through re-alignment of functions, physical flow of stocks / vehicles, increase capacity utilisation, resulting in a 20% reduction of warehouse space.  Standardised warehousing and stock control practices through authoring and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (e.g. cycle count, workflows, kit assembly, pick and pack for home delivery, customer returns).  Led a cross functional team to develop solutions to address accumulated damaged stocks and avoid a potential £500k stock write off. Developed procedures for mitigating risks and address regulatory requirements.
