The clear turnaround I initiated at X between 2005 & 2007 (from -10.1% OP to -1.7% in 2006 & breakeven for 2007 thru a combination of : Reintroducing all Best Practices (Lean Mfg), intervening at some key suppliers, strict management of Headcount (prod. & Support functions), selective customer re-pricings, etc... The tremendous business expansion I planned, conducted and executed with my teams in Europe for X in the area of Automotive Thermal Systems (eg. annual sales to French OEM’s going from 0 to $250 Millions between 1992 & 2004) against well-entrenched local champions like companies A, B & C, provides ample tangible evidence of the effectiveness of our market entry strategy.
