I am a Senior Executive Manager from within the global Oil & Gas industry, 28 years’ international experience. I held various operations, sales, business development, general management and executive positions (CEO, MD, Regional Director, Country Manager, manager of Operations,...) in services companies in Africa, the Middle-East, Asia Pacific and Europe.

Major Achievements

Few years back, I was recruited at very short notice and appointed CEO to an international group of companies headquartered in Malaysia and with a network of offices and bases throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East providing a wide range of engineering, consultancy, operational, business optimization and technical assistance services across the oil & gas, petrochemical and energy sectors. At that time, the company was critically in need of vigorous leadership and tighter financial management to counter-act the downturn of costs and expenditure across the global oil and gas industries. I undertook ‘root and branch’ review of worldwide operations and imposed robust financial controls. I reorganized functions and re-defined the business growth model and business plan by focusing on 5-6 core services in the Asia Pacific region. In a highly competitive market I successfully led major bids to win -million Engineering, Commissioning, Maintenance, Consultancy and Technical Assistance contracts in, variously, Norway, SE Asia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar and Korea. Across a 30 months duration, I improved all round performance, increased significantly revenue and margin and build a strong, faithful and comited management and technical execution team.
