Co-founder/Managing Director/COO of one of the leading management consultancy and capacity building firm in Jordan with over 27 years of experience in extending technical assistance consultancies and leading and managing many projects for many organizations from both the private and public sector; International Donors; and local, national and international development organizations and NGOs.

Major Achievements

Prepared, managed and executed a US$ 0.2 mil. Technical Assistance Component to support Municipal Local Development Planning and Capacity Building of Nine Jordanian Municipalities under the US$ 4 mil. "Local Governance Development Program (LGDP)" that was funded by the MCC, administered by USAID, and implemented by ARD Inc. (now Tetra Tech). The project involved assisting the Community Development Component under the LGDP in developing a three-year Municipal Local Development Plans – together with an Action Plan for the first year – for nine selected municipalities in Jordan (Greater Madaba, New Shobak, Fuheis, Greater Jerash, Beerain, Burqush, Hassa, Shafa, Rabiat Al-Koura) through a participatory approach that invites contribution from various stakeholders (the Local Development Units [LDUs] staff at the nine municipalities, the formed Local Development Voluntary Committees [LDVCs], and existing selected local cooperatives); providing technical support in developing tools and mechanisms to operationalize Municipal Development Plans with Action Plans; assessing the needs, designing and delivering of training modules to be used in the capacity-building plan for municipal staff (particularly members of LDUs with their counterpart LDVCs) to undertake development planning on an ongoing basis while ensuring the sustainability of this activity by building the required competencies among the different stakeholders; and designing and delivering of a training program to build the capacities of Local Cooperatives in these municipalities on “Public-Private Partnerships and Investment Projects”.
