Major Achievements

• Founded and developed Micropoint an IT Services Company with no funding which had sales of nearly £1M in year one and grew to £8m with a headcount of 30 • Project management of a major IT transition programme for Tesco, UK largest supermarket. This programme involved project managing conversion of more than 15 business applications and re-training over 100 IT personnel • Design, Development and Implementation of a business continuity planning and procedures system incorporating detailed risk analysis and assessment which was utilised by many Micropoint clients • Participation in a Business Growth Programme in conjunction with Cranfield University (UK) which resulted in the successful turn around of several participants businesses • Development of a business growth consultancy utilising workshops I’ve developed from my general business background and the structure behind the Cranfield Business Growth Programme • Founded and developed an IT temporary staff contracting business with no funding, which had a turnover of £100K in year 1 (1979/80) and £200K in year 2 (1980/81) when it was sold • Jointly founded and developed a training business, with little funding (£60K) which had sales of £500K in year 1 (1988) growing to £2.5M in year 4, when it was sold
