Delivered a $2.7M restructure of the Australian business unit to realise a $8.8M p.a. positive impact on EBIT as part of the turnaround program; • Business Turnaround in Jan-Dec 2018 by $4.8M in comparison to Jan-Dec 2017, supported by revised channel to market and FX strategies to significantly enhance bottom line performance; • Lifted manufacturing productivity in China by 25% via the introduction of robotic welding; • Dissolved the franchise model, creating a more flexible, scalable and agile distributor structure with less overheads, reduced risk and improved standardisation in customer experience; • Reduced overall APAC workforce headcount from 526 to 296, including conversion of the systems division into sub-contract teams to enable scale up and down as required; • Facilitated 80% of redundant staff being absorbed into the supply centre network, without any adverse backlash, legal challenges or negative PR issues resulting from the restructure.
