Assignment:
Chief Operating Officer to drive the execution, development, and measurement of day to day operations

Objectives:
You will be needed to initiate and chart continuous progress towards a long-term strategic plan to ensure company profitability, efficient operation, and customer satisfaction.
Supporting the CEO by directing all operating activities and collaborating with other executives as a part of the senior leadership team, responsibilities include:

- Directs and coordinates all aspects of the organization’s day to day activities. Will work to develop and monitor the implementation of the longer term business strategy.

- Reviews previous day’s sales and challenges upcoming day’s and week’s activities as a result. Understands key sales metrics in each area and supports sales leadership to improve gross profit.

- Understands operational metrics and supports operations leadership to improve throughput and yield.

- Monitors daily market conditions including pricing, kill rates, etc. and modifies daily activities to position the organization adequately.

- Develops relationships with existing and prospective customers to strengthen customer relations. Will work with SVP of Sales to create and implement sales strategies.

- Oversees the company’s financial and budget activities in order to sustain cost-effective business practices, maximize profits, and increase efficiency.

- Performs benchmarking to identify current and future business needs and opportunities across segments; challenges current business practices, and adopts new initiatives that will enhance competitive advantage.

- Works with SVP of Corporate Planning to develop talent pool for future talent needs.
