Garanti Bank became the largest Acquirer in Turkey for both International & Domestic Acquiring Volumes. • 1995, Head of Retail Banking Operations Group, Kentbank Kentbank obtained the License from Visa and Mastercard Int’l and completed the certification processes. • 1996-1997, CEO, Anadolu Kredi Kartı (AKK), 3rd Party Processor Company AKK became the largest Acquirer of Int’l Card Acquiring Volume in Turkey processed 185 mio USD ( 23.5 % of the whole outgoing Sales Volume of Turkey) AKK reached the highest Network Availability Ratio among all the processing banks in Turkey ( consecutively for 15 months in 1997 and 1998), with the fastest transaction response times and without Time-outs. Number of banks served reached to 13 ( from 5), No. of POS terminals reached to 10,000 (from 1,800) • 1998-2002, CEO, Universal Card Services (UKH), 3rd Party Processor Company Ground zero start-up of the Company with all the relevant departments including the recruitment of the employee as well as the License & Certification processes from Visa/MasterCard and Local Organizations.
