Major Achievements

Turning around the Belgian subsidiary: prior to 2005 this B.U. overly focussed the low end of the market. After it lost a large part of its listings, it became obvious that the local Manager was not up to the challenge. I decided to replace him; as of 2007, with a new MD which I recruited, I have defined and implemented a strategy focussed on some of the Group's successes in the high end of the market. Result: 4 years of repeated growth in profit and market share, giving our brand its highest market share ever in Belgium.
