Logistics Negotiated a long term contract by Hidrovias do Brasil with Vale for rendering barging services for mineral commodities. This contract is the largest of its kind worldwide, with estimated revenues of $ 2.5 billion over 25 years. Procured and managed contracts for logistics services of railway haulage, port handling and maritime shipment for all production capacity of a Canadian iron ore miner (close to 5 million ton). Engineering Achieved annual revenue growth between 2004 and 2008 from $ 5 million to R$ 52 million. EBITDA increased from 10% to 17%. Increased headcount from 50 to 800 in four years by implementing innovative talent search practices and organizational structure. Founded a business unit of one of the most important engineering firms in Latin America. Process equipment manufacture Coordinated the m&a process to acquire a competitor, contributing to a revenue growth of 125%. Managed the market survey, negotiation of the m&a agreement, due diligence, and the integration of different cultures and practices, granting a smooth process that boosted synergies. Mining Structured the areas of sales, logistics and technical assistance of a Canadian miner. Sold $ 200 million worth of iron ore during four years, in China and Europe. Increased domestic annual sales of a Brazilian miner in 200% in four years, inaugurating direct sales to customers such as ArcelorMittal, Gerdau and Usiminas. Started international sales of the same Brazilian miner in several countries in Europe and Asia, increasing annual revenues by 600% in four years. General Signed agreements for operational joint-ventures and transfers of technology with companies in Chile, USA, South Africa, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany and Australia – engineering, equipment making and mining. Coordinated the protection against anti-dumping processes that included negotiation with competitors and governmental institutions in Brazil, USA and Europe Union, opening markets previously closed due to anti-dumping measures. Opened Brazilian market for imported mining chemicals , achieving annual revenues of $ 20 million. Consulted US trading company operations for the procurement of ferrous and non-ferrous raw materials, achieving US$ 200 + million of moved materials.
